We are delighted that The Pingle Academy has been judged “Good” in all areas and for its overall effectiveness in a recent Ofsted inspection - October 2021.
This judgement builds on recent successes including being the most improved school in the whole of Derbyshire during 2018 and achieving our best ever academic outcomes in 2019. Students make good progress from their starting points.
Highlights from the latest Ofsted report in October 2021:

“Leaders are ambitious for all pupils. There is a well-planned curriculum in place in all subjects and for all pupils. Pupils achieve well as a result.”
“Teaching pupils to keep themselves safe and mentally healthy is at the heart of leaders’ work. Pupils learn how to protect themselves from the dangers of online abuse. They know the importance of healthy relationships. They have someone to talk with if they are anxious.”
